Al Martino started his working life as a bricklayer, and his efforts to make a career as a singer have been rewarded with the sale of over ten million records since the early fifties. His stature as a Hollywood celebrity has also led to concert, cabaret, T.V. and film appearances, one of the most notable of these being the role of Johnny Fontaine in the film “The Godfather”. His tours continue to this day, and he still makes the occasional Australasian trip. This collection presents twenty of his finest ballads, including the phenomenally successful “Spanish Eyes”.
